As a member of the Western Canada Chapter of the Employee Assistance Professional Association, I have known and worked with Claire Sutton for over a decade. As EAP Coordinator and Counsellor for the BC and Yukon Region of a large federal government department, I have utilized Claire’s services in our organization as a counsellor, trainer and Critical Incident debriefer. I have always found Claire’s professionalism combined with her warmth and humour a winning combination and have enjoyed consistent positive feedback from her clients; our staff and managers related to the work she does.

As President of our Chapter from 2004 – 2014 Claire has a contributed a leading edge vision for the field of EAP and has done tremendous work to raise the profile of EAP academically and on a practical level both within British Columbia and now as an International advisor to the parent organization EAPA.

Indeed our local Chapter is one of the few places where EAP professionals can gather to learn from seasoned experts in various relevant areas of the field, strengthen our network and share best practices.
